These files contain the light curve data for 547 short period eclipsing binaries found in the Kepler telescope FOV in the backgrounds of the Kepler main targets. Each file name refers to the Kepler Identity Code (KIC) of the Kepler target where the EB was found. It does not refer to the main target itself. Each .dat file contains a set of observations covering quarters 2 to 16 of the Kepler primary mission. In many cases there are gaps in the data where no signal was found for a quarter. There may also be small gaps within each quarter where the observations were interrupted, or were of poor quality (e.g. because of spikes). There are three data items per observation, with one observation per line: 1. The time of the observation, given as (BJ-2454833). 2. The de-trended and normalised flux summed across the pixels exhibiting the EB signal. 3. The normalised flux error, that is (flux_error/flux) where flux_error and flux are summed across the pixels exhibiting the EB signal.
