Hunting for disks around AGB stars

The majority of planetary nebulae show intricate morphologies like bipolar shapes, jets and dense equatorial disks. In the last decade, many efforts have been made using interferometry, to detect the mechanisms that produce these morphologies, and their influence on the stellar ejecta, as early as during the AGB phase. I will present my recent work on two AGB stars, where dusty disks have been detected with interferometric techniques.
